Brag on your kids today.

My kids are so awesome (not perfect)…but they are so awesome that I wanted to spend some time talking about my dudes and dudettes.

John Michael- My oldest. He is the classic alpha dog. I love it because he champions the cause of the underdog and loves to be around people at all times. He is just a wonderful natural leader. I tell him all the time…that I will pay him a million dollars not to grow up. He is something special and he is soooo smart it’s scary. He is getting to a point where he can hold his own with me in a debate. The one thing I love is when I hear him in his room putting together legos singing praise and worship songs from Kids Church or from his chapel at school. He is tender towards the Lord. I love it.

Benjamin- Also, known at ML COOL B.  Since we won’t let him talk about the ladies…his momma is his leading lady. He is smart and makes seriously good grades, but the thing I love about Benji is his humor. The kid is just slap stick comedy, and he thinks he is smooth. My favorite thing about this kid is his heart for God and his love for the church. He is getting baptised for the first time Sunday and guess what…it was his idea.

Averee- I love my first daughter so much so sometimes my heart wants to burst. She loves clothes more than her daddy. She works hard to change clothes a million times. She is sweet, smart, and she loves her poppy. I will be sitting in my chair in the office and she will bring me a cup of ice water…no telling where the cup has been…but it is the thought that matters. It is funny how sophisticated she can be and then also at the same time how childlike in the very next moment.

Addy- Cinammon or Hotsauce depending on what day you get a hold of her. She has her dads fiery personality and her mom’s beauty. I’m hoping she keeps the beauty and that God will temper the fire a bit…either way…I love her smile…it lights up the room. Nothing better than just scooping her up and squeezing the very life out of her…or wanting to pinch her chubby cheeks so hard.
