A spirit of maybe- Final Thoughts

Not just when someone is called to be an armor-bearer, but when you are called to serve God in any capacity, it is not about you anymore.  When Jesus walked the earth, he served.  He served so people could learn what knowing God was all about.

(the numbers coincide with the list)

1.      I come by serving honest.  My mother has served pastors of her church all of my life, so I learned about serving from her.

2.      The road has not always been smooth, there have been sometimes when I corrected when I should have stayed quiet. But you pray about mistakes, get forgiven, learn from it and move on.

3.      To be a leader you have to always be training your replacement, same in armor-bearing.

4.      Covering who you serve in the spiritual realm is as hard or harder than serving them in the physical realm.  I have put in some long days and nights to do things that helped Pastor reach people.

5.      See number 2.  Take your mistake, bury out back and move on.

6.      And 7. Some of the most important things I do as a servant never see the light of day, in other words, no one ever knows it was me that did it.

7.      I expect we have all heard that you should pray about everything, this is true.  EVERYTHING.  I have been sitting in my house watching tv and have Pastor get on in my spirit in a got to pray now way and later get a call from him and find out he just went through something tough.

8.      About number nine, ‘nuff said.

Well, I hope that ya’ll have enjoyed this as much as I have. I will close with this.  Whatever you do, do it as unto the Lord.

You know….I had a buddy one time

Later.
